Motivation for Weightloss

Here is some more measurement of my first day. I was close to 300lbs. The target weight was 179lbs. I reached 151lbs. I won the National Body Transformation Competition. Let's talk weightloss motivation. Here is the secret - IT DOESN'T LAST.

In #ArnoldsPumpClub, Arnold talked about excuses. He said, "Maybe that motivation is gone. Deal with it. That is why I warn you it won't last. Momentum is the only thing that lasts and that comes from routine. It comes from the mornings where you want to stay under the covers but you force yourself out. It comes from the days where you start to say you'll just train tomorrow and you tell yourself to shut and get to the gym. Routine is not built on the days when you wake up full of fire to get to your training. It is built on the days that you force yourself."
Whatever you goal is - weightloss, muscle building - everything is about building a habit. It is not necessary to build motivation. Creating habits is the most important. Working out the same time every day. Walking the dog in the morning. Doing strength training with the Pump App on Monday and cardio training on Tuesday. These are routines you build into your day. Be selfish. If you take care of yourself and you are healthy, then you will be amazed at what you can do at work or with your family. When I was 300lbs, I could barely work a full day. Naps were needed. I was 48 years old!
At 54 years, fully healthy, I work 12 hours a day with my job and my family, at full speed, 100%. I eat a lot less too! Join the Arnold’s free Pump Club Newsletter and grab a copy of my book Transform Yourself: A Pump Club Story here: https://100poundwar.com/arnold
